When I purchased my first PC, everyone was obsessed with ram . How much you had was a great indicator of how the PC would perform. Now, although that is still true, you don't hear as much talk about it. Maybe that's because PCs are so speedy now that it doesn't matter. The entry level has moved to way past the top spec back then. I have no idea what the RAM is on my laptop.
