Mopping With Microfiber

I'm intrigued by the idea of a microfiber mop. I had a microfiber coat once and it repelled all the water, kept me warm and was very light. I wonder whether a microfiber mop soaks up lots of water without getting heavt. It would be interesting to find out, though too much interest might get me a job doing more housework.
